Honours Research Project Name: Exploring Community Pharmacists’ Perspectives and Needs in Providing Injectable Contraception to Adolescents
Sophie is an Honours student in the Department of General Practice at Monash University’s School of Public health and Preventive Medicine. Her research focuses on pharmacists’ views regarding the provision of injectable contraception to adolescents, where pharmacists’ jurisdiction to prescribe and supply different contraceptive methods varies across Australia. She is passionate about high-quality and inclusive delivery of primary healthcare services to improve the sexual and reproductive health outcomes of adolescents. She completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine, majoring in Pathology, at The University of Melbourne in 2024.
