PhD research project name:Understanding Australian GP trainee education and supervision in Medical Termination of Pregnancy

Dr Keersten Fitzgerald works as a GP and a lecturer in the General Practice Clinical School at The University of Sydney. She is currently completing her PhD at the University of Sydney under the supervision of Professor Melissa Kang, Professor Kirsten Black and Professor Deborah Bateson. Her PhD project focuses on the education and training of GP registrars in medical abortion, with the aim of building the capacity of the general practice workforce in abortion care and improving access for Australian women.
