PhD research project name: The influence of rurality on women's decision making and pregnancy choices following an unintended pregnancy in Australia.

Genevieve is a Lecturer in Nursing at Australian Catholic University. She is a Registered Nurse and qualified Sexual & Reproductive Health Nurse. She has been nursing for over 20 years in mainly community-based roles in regional, rural and remote Australia. She completed a Master of Public Health at University of Melbourne in 2020. Genevieve is currently a PhD candidate at the Judith Lumley Centre at La Trobe University and joins SPHERE in 2024. Her PhD focuses on the influence of rurality on women's decision making and pregnancy choices following an unintended pregnancy in Australia. She is supervised by Associate Professor Kristina Edvardsson and Professor Leesa Hooker.
