Dr. Olena Ivanova is a Senior Research Fellow at SPHERE CRE and an internationally recognised researcher in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), focusing on equity and digital innovation. For over a decade, she has co-designed, implemented, and evaluated SRH and global health projects and studies across five WHO regions. As a mixed-methods researcher, her work spans comprehensive sexuality education, SRHR of populations facing healthcare barriers, including young women and girls, and migrant and refugee communities, as well as menstrual blood diagnostics and digital SRH solutions. Beyond her academic portfolio, Olena co-founded the non-profit FemTech Germany, established the professional community Women’s Health & FemTech Ukraine, and founded and chairs the SxRx Collective in Australia. Named by Women of Wearables as one of the "200 Trailblazing Leaders in Women's Health and FemTech" worldwide, she is passionate about advancing women's health through interdisciplinary research, innovative approaches, and capacity building.
