PhD research project name: Promoting the safe and effective use of contraceptive medicines amongst women at high-risk of unintended pregnancy: developing the evidence base for community pharmacy.
Zaynah Ali is a registered pharmacist and final year PhD student within the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University, Australia. She currently works as a hospital pharmacist at Monash Health. Zaynah is a qualitative researcher who is interested in expanding pharmacist’ scope of practice. Her PhD research seeks to develop an evidence base for prescribing and resupplying of contraceptive methods by community pharmacists, with a focus on exploring the perspectives of people with lived experiences and navigating service systems.
