PhD research project name: Contraceptive counselling in community pharmacy: An opportunity to improve equitable contraceptive care
Pip graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Public Health in 2018, specialising in sexual and reproductive health and epidemiology. She gained experience as a research assistant at the School of Public Health and Preventative Medicine, Monash University, working for the Victorian State Trauma and Victorian Lung Cancer Registries, and subsequently joined SPHERE in 2019 as a PhD candidate. Pip has also been involved in research using multimedia to deliver information about the emergency contraceptive pill to young people. With SPHERE, Pip’s research is focused on the design of effective decision aids for broadening women’s contraceptive choice in general practice and pharmacy.
