A gender gap in medical care?
Ebony Tallentyre was 16 when she went to the doctor for exhaustion, muscle pain and irregular periods.
Her GP diagnosed her with polycystic ovary syndrome but didn't provide the teenager with a treatment plan that would alleviate her symptoms.
"Nothing was done about it," she said.
"It was like 'you have PCOS' — that's it."
